TESVOLT specialises in commercial battery storage systems.


We are an innovative company from Lutherstadt Wittenberg in Germany and produce energy storage systems with state-of-the-art prismatic lithium battery cells from Samsung SDI, based on nickel manganese cobalt oxide.

TESVOLT energy storage systems function just as well at low voltage as at high voltage, and can be connected to all forms of energy generation: sun, wind, water and combined heat and power — on-grid and off-grid. All storage systems are produced at our manufacturing facility in Germany.

TESVOLT now has a branch of technical specialists in Australia (at our Perth Office in WA) ready to service the growing demand for commercial energy storage systems nation-wide.

What makes TESVOLT better?

Our battery management system (BMS) in particular, is what sets us apart from the alternative technologies.

The BMS, developed by the company itself, makes the TESVOLT energy storage systems especially durable and economical. TESVOLT’s battery management system ensures that the battery cells are always optimally charged and discharged. The active cell balancing is not just limited to the cells within a battery module, but also optimises the different battery modules to fit with each other.

The temperature, voltage and state of charge of each individual cell or battery module is monitored, significantly boosting the cells’ lifespan. This gives TESVOLT storage systems a service life of up to 30 years, equivalent to around 8,000 complete charge cycles with a depth of discharge (DoD) of 100 percent.
